​Live-out nanny for a 15 month old healthy girl in Mississauga East (Dixie/Burnhamthorpe). *32 hours per week (Tuesday – Friday) from 8:30 AM – 4:30 PM. *1 year position duration with possibility of extension. *Experience required preferably with children of the same age group. *Punctual, reliable, organized, honest, loving and caring. *Patient, energetic, and creative in keeping child occupied . *Team player that is willing to collaborate with parents for the best interest of the child. *Eligible to work in Canada and can provide valid ID and police record check. *Has reliable transportation. Lives in Mississauga or surrounding area (within a 30KM range). *Can provide reachable references who will be contacted after the interview. *ECE knowledge/background or certification is an asset. *CPR and First Aid training and certificate is an asset. *Proficient in English. *Non-smoker. Main responsibilities: *Taking care of the child including, but not limited to, playing, reading, singing, encouraging development milestones (eg. speech, walking and motor skills), feeding (may include meal prep/reheat), changing diapers, putting for naps, taking out for walks if weather permits, etc *Keeps an eye on child’s health and safety inside and outside the house. Will take care of child when sick; administering medication as instructed. *Light house duties such as keeping kitchen tidy (dishwasher reloads) and tidying up child’s play area (occasional vacuuming of the play area as required).
