Nanny for children: • Seeking a mature, active full time nanny to care for 2 elementary age children (1 boy and 1 special needs girl) • In-home care of children at employer’s residence • Daily living functions for 5 year old special needs girl: Toileting and toilet training, Brushing, Combing, Bathing, Dressing etc • Getting kids ready for school • Preparing/cooking food/snacks for both children • Feeding food, drinks, and medications to 5 year old • Oversee children's activities, such as play dates, meals, and naps • Organize and participate in activities such as games, crafts, reading and outings • Appropriately communicating to children per their needs • Appropriate play at-home or in community/cleanup and organize after play • Laundry for children • Light housekeeping • Maintain a safe and healthy environment at home • Caring for children when sick • Take children to and from school/appointments • Required to keep logs of daily activities and health information regarding each child • Hourly rate + Mileage will be discussed at interview Employment requirements: • Completion of secondary school. Additional college/child care program beneficial • Demonstrated ability to perform work with a high level of patience and responsibility • First aid certification and CPR beneficial • Clean driver’s record • Police clearance required
