Two families seeking an experienced, full-time nanny to care for two toddlers (1 yr + 1.5 yr) in Fairview/Mt. Pleasant. We are looking for a caring, creative and energetic nanny, whose primary focus is creating a safe and fun environment for our children. Duties: -Daily care for two toddlers, including maintaining daily routines and using positive discipline techniques -Facilitate engaging and stimulating care (interactive play, reading, singing, arts activities) -Ensure daily outings to parks, libraries, community centres or other kids events and community resources -Prepare and serve healthy snacks and lunches (groceries will be provided) -Light housekeeping related to childcare -Facilitate naps and change diapers Qualifications and Requirements: -Three years of childcare experience -Valid First Aid and CPR -Clean Criminal record check -English fluency -Early Childhood Education or equivalent is an asset -French speaking in an asset -Non smoker -Ok with cats (no care required) -References Other Details: -Start date January 2, 2018, however we are interested in a few "warm-up" days in December -Monday- Friday 8-5:30 (some flexibility with the right person) -Live out nanny position -Childcare will be shared between two homes, both easily accessed by transit (Canada Line, B Line, 3&8 bus routes)
