Hello Nannies, My husband and I are looking for a live-out nanny to care for our 12 month old son as well as another child of similar age (we are currently looking for a family to share with), full time Monday to Thursday (8-5) in our home in Kitsilano starting in January, 2018. About Us: - Our son turned one on December 5th and is a vivacious, energetic and playful little boy who loves going on outings and playing one on one with other kids and adults. - We are a professional couple who work downtown and in the cambie corridor. About You: - We are looking for a Nanny who is warm, caring, patient, energetic, fun and easygoing to spend quality time with our son and another child of similar age. We expect the Nanny who is hired to take the children out daily to the park, library time, play gyms, and community centre programs (all of which are within walking distance or a quick transit ride away) and also respect rhe children's limitations (i.e. nap time, when they are not feeling well etc). - We are looking for someone who can prepare meals for the children and keep our home tidy while balancing the needs of two children in a nanny share situation. - CPR certification and Criminal Record Check is essential and First Aid is preferred - Non-smoker is essential - Preference will be given to Nanny’s who have experience with twins around 12 months of age or those who have worked in a nanny share situation with children around 12 months of age. Location: - We live in Kitsilano and our home is easily accessible by transit including the 99-B Line. - We live within walking distance of the Kitsilano Community Centre, Westside Family place and Kitsilano neighbourhood house as well as parks and the beach. Above all, we are looking for someone who is warm, caring and that we can trust. Our son is very attached to us and we to him and we would love nothing more than to have him be cared for by someone loving, nurturing, fun and energetic .
