Hello. I am looking for a part-time permanent nurturing, reliable and patient nanny/housekeeper to care for my two sons aged 3 yrs and 4 years. I also have 2 older boys 9 and 15 yrs old but they will be in school during work hours. I am looking for part time approx 20-30 hrs a week and we have a fairly flexible schedule. I can arrange my work around when you are available. The 2 younger boys have autism. The boys have delayed speech so communication is a work in progress for them. They are able to use picture cards or their iPad communication app to express their needs. They have minor issues with behaviour when they are frustrated but it is also easy to calm them out of it. They are also very sweet and cuddly. Most days you will only have to care for one for a few hours while the other is in therapy. Boys are #1 priority but another important duty is housekeeping. Would love extra help with organization. Keeping house tidy, bathrooms cleaned, dishes, laundry, help with cooking and meal prep for supper. This position also involves driving boys back and forth to therapy or preschool and possibly pick up of older children from school. Must have drivers license and own vehicle. Reimbursement will be made for kilometres driven. We live in South Langley by 208 street and 0 avenue. Compensation starts at $17/hr or negotiable based on experience with special needs.
