We are looking for a full-time, live-out nanny/mother's helper for our toddler and 6 month old twins. We are looking for a long-term, energetic and loving nanny that is experienced with toddlers and infants to join our family. Hours would likely be from 7:30-4:30. Some flexibility with hours would be discussed in advance. Duties & responsibilities may include but are not limited to: • Creating a nurturing and stimulating environment • Meeting the children’s social, emotional and physical needs • Providing age-appropriate activities • Doing the children’s laundry • Assisting with self-care and hygiene, including diapering • Preparing nutritious meals/snacks and family meals • Taking the children on age-appropriate outings • Housework – cleaning and maintaining house • Cleaning and sterilizing bottles • Errands when needed • Transporting the children to and from activities when needed • Accompanying parents to appointments or activities • Minor pet-care duties Qualifications: • At least 5 years of previous nanny experience • Experience caring for infants and toddlers (experience with twins an asset) • Current first aid and CPR certification • High school graduate • Degree or courses in early childhood education an asset • Valid driver’s license and clean driver’s abstract • Own vehicle • Able to provide a criminal history check • Dependable, honest and trustworthy • Knowledge of the community and activities available to young children • Able to provide references upon request • Long-term commitment • Authorization to legally work in Canada
