Job description: Expected start date: April 4 , 2018 Location: Rosedale, NW Calgary Expected schedule: Live out position. Monday to Thursday. 30-40 hours per week. Compensation starting at $16/hour but negotiable based on qualifications and experience. Expected duties: CHILDCARE -3 year old and 6 year old boys -3 year old attends play school 2 mornings a week, 6 year old attends full time school until 3 PM -pick up from school bus for 6 year old -drop off and pick up from play school for 3 year old -healthy meal and snack preparation for children as necessary -this position does require the applicant to drive the children on a regular basis. Ideally candidate would have a vehicle and would be compensated for mileage. Must have driver's license OTHER DUTIES -In addition to childcare, daily light housekeeping and meal preparation/cooking will be expected -Laundry and ironing -During times when the children are not present in the home, home cleaning/errands/organizing of the home is required. There will be 4-6 hours a week dedicated to these tasks -1 small dog and a cat in the household require occasional care (feeding, walking, cat boxes, cuddles, etc) -If the successful candidate is interested, occasional babysitting or pet sittiing hours will be readily available -Spanish speaking would be a great benefit
