We are looking to hire an outstanding nanny beginning in September 2019. Our ideal candidate is as follows:
You have some education and/or experience in a career related to childhood development plus CPR/AR credentials, and you can swim. You have access to reliable transportation to get to and from our home. You have a valid license and are comfortable driving our SUV to and from activities. Your focus will be on providing a warm, engaging, fun, and caring environment to a lovely 3-year-old. We expect that you will participate with our child in developmentally appropriate activities such as: reading, painting, storytelling, games, singing, clapping, dancing. Additional responsibilities include, but are not limited to, making breakfast, lunch, and snacks, attending local playgroups, lessons and playdates, and providing daily outdoor activities (including applying sunscreen). Screen time is not permitted.
Finally, you are reliable, punctual, hardworking, trustworthy, able to focus your attention to tasks without distraction, and you can communicate effectively, efficiently, and professionally. Please note that cellphone use is not permitted during work hours.
The position will be a minimum of 28-30 hours per week. Hourly rate is $17/hr. Pay minus taxes, CPP, and EI will be issued semi-monthly.
