Loving parents of sweet, happy and active 20-month old twin girls are seeking a long-term, full-time nanny who is able to start in May 2018.
Location: Our home in Lake Sundance, SE Calgary
Start date: May 2018
Schedule: Monday to Friday, full-time
Pay: Pay is negotiable and will be based on your experience and qualifications

Your responsibilities will include the following:
- Tend to the physical, social, emotional and intellectual development and well-being of our daughters
- Supervise and care for our daughters
- Change diapers
- Prepare and serve nutritious meals and snacks
- Feed our daughters
- Maintain a safe and healthy environment in the home
- Keep records of daily activities and health information of our daughters
- Instruct and assist our daughters in personal hygiene and social development
- Discipline our daughters according to the methods we have requested
- Dress our daughters
- Prepare our daughters for naps/rest periods
- Organize and participate in age-appropriate indoor and outdoor playtime and activities such as games, crafts, reading, music, dance and outings to provide amusement and exercise
- Take our daughters to activities (e.g. music class, library, park, walks, etc.)
- Some light housekeeping, laundry and meal preparation
- Keep the children’s rooms and household clean and tidy
Qualifications and Experience
- You have previously cared for toddlers, ideally with twins or multiples
- You have current CRP and first aid certifications
- You are willing to obtain a current police clearance and a vulnerable sector check
- You have a current driver’s license and clean driving record
- High school diploma
- Although not required, it would also be desirable if you have completed some kind of early childhood education and/or babysitting certification course
- Fluency in Spanish is an asset, although not required
- We are a non-smoking family and are seeking a non-smoking nanny
It is very hard work caring for toddler twins but our daughters are absolutely delightful and will bring you a lot of laughs and much enjoyment once you get to know them.
Mom works in a professional career and occasionally travels. Mom also works from home on some days so you will need to be comfortable with her being around on occasion. Dad has a business and typically works longer hours.
Please note that we have a small, non-shedding dog who is now 12 and mostly keeps to himself but will need to be let out a couple of times a day.
