Hello, we are a family of 5, looking for someone available to help out with our 3 children, for a variety of childcare scenarios. My husband is in the military and is away frequently for work. I am a paramedic who works shift work in Renfrew County, so we often have difficulty finding traditional daycare that works for our schedules. We have a 7 year old boy, a 5 year old girl and a 2.5 year old girl. The older 2 are in school full time, and the youngest attends daycare part-time. We live in Richmond. We are constantly juggling schedules and babysitters to make things work, and ideally, we would LOVE to find someone who can be counted on to be flexible and help our family through all our changing needs. We are currently looking for someone who can do some part-time before school work, generally M/W/F from 6 or 715am until about 830am, for the older two kids, from now until the end of June. There are also times where we need before school and after school care - for example for 2 weeks from May 22-June 1 we will need extra care while my hubby is away for work. There are also times where we need someone to watch 1 or 2 of the kids while we are doing activities with 1 of the other children. And there may be times we need someone to stay home with the youngest all day, if regular daycare is closed etc. during the school year, and may need someone to watch all 3 kids at home some times during the summer. So as you can see, there are lots of options for hours and work, it's just not always a set schedule, so we need someone flexible, who ideally, doesn't need constant full-time hours.
