Our fantastic family of four is looking for a fabulous household manager-nanny on a part-time long-term basis! We are a professional couple who live in a comfortable Willow Park Estates (SE Calgary) home and have two children (ages 8 and 6) who are bright, well-behaved and loving. We are looking for someone to help our household run smoothly with childcare, meal planning/cooking, cleaning, laundry, driving the kids to/from school/ activities, and running errands. You'll be able to help plan parties, shop for our family (on your own expense card) and be treated as a member of our family. We encourage and pay for fun activities like hiking, the science centre, Calaway Park, Zoo, gardening and swimming. Perks may include health benefits, paid vacation, gym membership and paid travel opportunities.
Our ideal candidate will have experience working with children, a drivers license and reliable vehicle, a flexible schedule and the enthusiasm and skills to be a wonderful household manager-nanny! This is a part-time position (between 8 and 20 hours/week) and perfect for a student or retired person. Our key needs are Tuesday and Thursday afternoons (tentatively 3:15-6: 15 pm), as well as some other flexible hours throughout the week.
Due to the set-up of our home, we would prefer a live-out nanny, but we do have a beautiful suite for occasional sleepovers. We would prefer someone that would like a medium to long-term position. Our past nanny has been part of our family for over six years! We can be somewhat flexible with our week-day schedule to accommodate your needs, and in return would appreciate occasional evening, overnight, and weekend childcare if possible. Your start date is ideally November 19, 2019, but we have some flexibility.
