Our 75 year old Mom recovered from brain surgery in May 2018, chemo and radiation treatment at BCCA. She is now suffering from the tumor again. She has been a super social, active woman/Mom/Wife/Grandma. She has always liked to get out and about, do yoga, socialize. What we do know is that right now she needs home care - extra help from a Warm and friendly caregiver. We want to ensure she’s in the best hands. Monitoring medication, helping her with personal hygiene with dignity, ensuring her safety while moving around the house and creating a feel for our Mom to feel independent. She does have some term memory issues. We are a loving family who live in North Vancouver (upper Lonsdale area) and anyone we bring in to help our Mom will be part of our family. Your primary job is to care for our Mom, help prep healthy meals for her (and her very self sufficient husband)and keep the house in order. It could eventually be a full time position in upper Lonsdale area. Driving would be an asset as she does have a car but not essential. Thank you for considering and we look forward to meeting you.
