Home Child Care Provider – Nanny for 4 children (NOC 4411) WORK LOCATION: Private Home in Richmond, BC V7E 5L8 VACANCIES: 1 TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT: Full Time permanent position AVAILABILITY: 40 hours a week plus overtime if needed, two days off per week WORK SETTING: Employer’s Home Optional Accommodations available at no charge on a live -in basis. NOTE: This is NOT a condition of Employment ANTICIPATED START DATE: As soon as possible SECURITY AND SAFETY: Criminal Record Check EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENT: 1 year to less than 2 years working with multiple children at the same time REQUIREMENTS: Completion of Secondary School LANGUAGE: English ESSSENTIAL SKILLS: Communication, Decision Making, Critical thinking, Job task planning and organizing ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Supervise and care for 4 children ages: 9, 6, 3 and 1 Bathe, dress and feed toddlers Assist school age children to get ready for school which includes helping them get dressed and preparing their snacks and making sure they eat their breakfast Prepare toddlers for rest periods Organize activities such as games and outings for children Instruct children in personal hygiene and social development Read to children Prepare and serve nutritious meals Sterilize bottles, prepare formulas and change diapers for toddlers Wash, iron and press clothing and household linens Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties Maintain a safe and healthy environment in the home Tend to emotional well-being of children Discipline children according to methods request by the parents Keep records of daily activities and health information regarding children SALARY: $14. 50/hour for 40 hours per week HOW TO APPLY: Direct all applications to: By phone, please call: ###-###-#### between 9:00 am – 5:00 pm
