Seeking a Mandarin-English speaking instructor and care-giver for my 4-year old daughter. I’m seeking an individual who has experience in teaching young people and enjoys the process of teaching. My daughter enjoys learning Mandarin, she often sings songs on her own will and enjoys the positive recognition of learning. The rate per hour is blended between a standard child care rate and a teaching rate. This half day will be split between ‘instruction time’ and regular care-taking time i.e. meals and play activities. Hours: 8:30 – 12:30 pm three days a week *flexible to fit your schedule Monday October 1st 2018 – June 30th, 2019 No car is required. Drop off at 12:30 at a local Montessori school a 15 minute walk. Expectations include: Building a curriculum for the child to complete. Week’s assessment on progress. Creative thinking on learning methods. We will provide financial support for instructional material i.e. reference books, supplies for crafts, videos etc… We do have a collection of Mandarin learning material that we can review together, about 12 weeks worth including different themes, i.e. transportation, animals, plants, colours, vegetables, fruits etc.. which includes videos and audio CDs. $21.00 per hour Serious inquiries only please meeting the above requirements or very close to.
