Hello my name is Kelly. We are interested in finding a family assistant for our home. I have four children, ranging in ages from almost 2 to 7 and a Great Dane. I need reliable, long term, full time help and someone that is able to drive. Police check and references are a must as well. My husband has MS and is in a wheelchair. He is also home but requires assistance with getting the children fed and out the door. It would also help to have someone who can take care of dinner when the kids get home and lunch prep for my husband. All the kids are either in school or childcare of some sort, so I'm looking for help in the early morning and afternoon to evening. I am headed back to work, so the position can be part time mornings (630-1030) or afternoons (3-7) Or we can work on a split shift schedule if you are willing to try that. Duties include: • Breakfast and cleanup • Help kids get dressed • Ensure backpacks are packed • Transportation to and from school (in my vehicle or possibly a bus service) • Lunch for my husband (before morning shift is over) • Folding laundry • Vacuuming of main floor • Encourage and help kids to clean up after themselves • Help kids with home transition (changing clothes, emptying bags) • Supervision of kids until I get home (no later than 4:30) • Lunches for next day of school • Make dinner • Dinner cleanup I should be home by 4:30 most days. So, I am looking for someone to kind of work in the background so I can spend time with my kids. I am headed back to work after a seven year leave, so I am not sure exactly how things are going to work. I need help and calmness. I am looking for an extra set of hands and eyes that unfortunately my husband is limited in providing. This is a properly paying job, meaning all deductions will be applied to your paycheque.
