Mother’s Helper / Nanny - afternoon & evening part-time position We are a friendly Riverdale family looking for a part-time, live out nanny or mother’s helper to assist with childcare of a 2.5 year old and 4 month old on a flexible basis. Most weeks we would require assistance Monday to Thursday (and maybe Friday) between approximately 3:30 and 8:00, averaging 15-20 hours per week. Additional hours potentially available. Responsibilities include: * Daycare pick ups (less than 10 minutes away by foot) * Help with dinner, bath and bed time routines * Some meal preparation for the family * Entertain, play with children * Light housekeeping (e.g. tidying toys and play areas, dinner clean up, laundry, etc.) - no deep cleaning Given the part-time hours and flexible nature of the role, this position would be ideal for an ECE (or other) tertiary level student who is interested in working with children and who is a self-starter. We are looking for someone who is energetic, reliable, fun but firm. It would be ideal to find someone who lives in or close to Riverdale. Mom (and often dad) will mostly be home so we need someone who is social and who will blend in well with our family.
