Needing a reliable part-time nanny in Cochrane, Alberta to look after one happy, easy going, very communicative 17 month old! We are 2 honest and kind professionals and want someone who can be a trusted part of our family and who will help us continue to raise our son with the values and kindness that is important to us. Total number of hours per week would be 18-22 over Thursdays (10-6 or 11-7), Fridays (10-6 or 11-7) and Saturdays (10-2 or 4). One additional weekday may be also added during daytime hours at a later time depending on need and your availability. 3+ years experience preferred but will consider someone with less if there's a fit. Raising your own children will not be considered as part of your nannying work experience. An outline of previous work experiences as a nanny will be needed prior to arranging a meeting. Personal attributes sought include reliable, professional, respectful, kind, caring and empathetic, patient, and honest and truthful. A good knowledge of the English language is needed as well as strong communication skills. Tasks will include food prep and laundry for baby, light house cleaning and occasional meal prep for the parents (to be negotiated). In addition the following will be needed: - CPR training/certification - A clear police check - a valid drivers license - a safe driving record and clean drivers abstract - your own safe vehicle - early childhood education (preferred though not a must) - strong references from previous families.
