Our family would like to hire a full time, live-out nanny for our two boys, with the position starting at the beginning of September 2019. The youngest will be one year old in August and will require full-time care. Our older son turns 4 in September and he will be in part-time preschool. Our current nanny has decided to go back to school. Our main priority for childcare is ensuring the boys are well cared for, safe, and feel loved by their nanny. Duties will include the following: - Dropping off and picking up the four year old from preschool (you can walk if weather allows, but it is a short drive if weather is poor) - Prep and feeding bottles and changing diapers (for the 1 year old) - Lunch and snack preparation on a daily basis, some partial meal prep for family dinner - Cleaning (kids laundry, bed making, dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, bathrooms - all as time allows, with well-being of children taking priority) - Providing activities that help engage and interest both children - Taking kids outside on a daily basis if weather allows (there are a few playgrounds nearby and some space to play in the yard) - Reading - Following nap schedule - Limiting tv and videos - Taking kids to play groups or other activities when needed Fluency in English is very important to us, and Spanish would be a bonus! Our 4 year old already understands a lot of Spanish and we'd love to find a nanny who can help teach both boys Spanish as they are growing up.
