Part Time or Full Time Live out : Must have a professional demeanor and appearance as well as be discreet and private regarding all employer’s family matters. Candidate will have at least 3-5yrs professional childcare, teaching and musical experience, fulfilling a Governess or similar role. Governess of European origin preferred: French, Italian, Spanish, Swiss or British, in order to teach kids a second language and/or perfect a language. Ability to play and teach a musical instrument, ideally piano - a plus. Primary responsibilities will consist of fulfilling a mentor role in the kids academic learning, ensuring that daily homework is completed to a high standard, while supplementing and accelerating their learning whenever/wherever possible. Focus majority of time on the kids’ cultural education and enrichment, social, creative and intellectual development. Teach etiquette and promote good manners and behaviour. No technology or tv during time spent with kids. Governess will be expected to develop and propose an overall educational program/plan to be reviewed and approved by the employer. Progress will be discussed with employer through weekly updates and monthly reviews. Option B: Full TIme Live Out : Same above profile and duties, as well as the following added duties: Household duties : House cleaning, grocery shopping, running errands, preparing meals. Bring kids to and from Dr’s appointments and other activities as well as other tasks that may be asked by the employer during the work hours, including of a personal assistant nature. Be available on short notice to cover for occasional unexpected and thus unplanned needs. Option A Works Hours : 3pm-7pm Flexibility in modifying working hours and to work outside of typical hours, according to employer’s needs on sick days & ped days. Option B Works Hours : 10:30am-6:30pm Days per week: 5. Daily hours depends on type of candidate found as per Option A or B above.Targeted start date: October or November, 2018. Governess must have legal papers to work in Canada. She must also have a valid driver’s license with all demerit points fully intact. Own a reliable car to pick up kids from respective schools and activities daily. Car allowance will be agreed between the parties. Salary offered: $20-$25 per hr (depending on credentials, degree of experience and calibre of candidate)
