We are a young family with one child - a 15-month-old daughter, looking for a part-time live-out nanny, for 2-3 days per week, 8-10 hours per day. We live in an organized, smoke-free, pet-free condo in the distillery district. Our daughter is fun, happy, healthy, very verbal, and fully sleep-trained. Your main responsibilities will be taking care of her. This includes preparing her meals, feeding her, putting her down for her nap, playing with her, taking her to activities, etc. No driving required at this time. Other responsibilities include housework (cleaning, laundry, ironing). Ideally, you would do some cooking/meal preparation. You must have experience working with young children, be organized, warm, enthusiastic and responsible. We require a police background check, references from recent employer(s), and CPR and first aid training. Please note that we are considering moving to a house in the near future but would be remaining in Toronto proper, ideally in the east end. Salary: $18/hour (gross) Start date: January 14, 2019 (very flexible on the start date; toddler will be 18 months at that time).
