We are searching for a permanent full time Responsible Adult (RA A 20 hour online course to be certified) for a client located in Walnut Grove. We are looking for someone that will be able to open the centre in the morning, take the children to school/pick up the children and bring them back to the centre until their parents pick them up. Hours will be: 7am-9am & 12pm-5pm Monday-Friday You will have strengths in: Planning, implementing and evaluating activities and experiences to meet individual and group needs of all children and families of a child care program. Ability to work well with a team Guiding and caring for a group of children ages 5-12 years. Encouraging learning and developing positive self-concepts for children Ensuring a healthy and safe environment for children. Effective and cooperative team work and communication Maintaining positive and supportive relationships with parents and families. You will have: Minimum Responsible Adult certification First Aid training and current certification Clear Criminal Record Check Strong organizational and planning skills Well developed interpersonal skills, including oral and written communication. Strong knowledge and awareness of: Age-appropriate programming and developmental needs of children Family and parenting issues and needs Excellent communication skills Knowledge of broader child care field and its role in the community Your additional assets may include: * Class 4 drivers license (or willingness to obtain) Terms of Employment: Permanent full time/ starting as soon as possible.
