Looking for an amazing part time nanny. I am a solo mom of two boys ages 2 and 4. living in Saanich near Quadra/Mckenzie area. I work from home most of the time and have my children in a variety of activities. My work alots me 20hrs of childcare per week (which I don’t technically need but apply it to help out with home life) and I’ve bumped up my requested hours slightly to make it a more tempting job. I really need someone with some skills and experience working with young children who is happy, fun and flexible. My boys are active and imaginative and it is absolutely imperative that I find someone that connects well with both of them. Willingness to stick with routines (toddler naptime, potty training, bedtime etc) and help preparing healthy meals (join us for dinner!) would be required. I’m willing to offer approximately 24hrs of work per week and will negotiate a wage based on experience and compatibility. My older boy goes to preschool 5 mornings a week so I rarely have a need for care before 11am. This may change slightly in January so flexibility would be most desirable. I’m hoping to find someone with their own vehicle that would eventually be able to include the occasional pickup or drop off to help me out. Right now My ideal care schedule looks like: Monday- 12-5 (2 yr old only) Wednesday - 12-6 work day for me maybe at home office maybe out to meeting (both kids but I take my 4yr old to a class late afternoon) ** would like option for earlier start time for January schedule. Thursday -12-7:30/9:00(may include joining kids and me for a class after lunch but later afternoon alone with both kids for a few hours including dinner and bedtime. Once a month business meeting until 9pm). Friday -12-5 (2yr old only). Willing to consider conflicts/classes or negotiate different times. May be looking at some schedule changes in January/April/June but happy to guarantee hours or work with you to create a secure schedule!
