• Responsible for the general upkeep of the home and its systems.
• Responsibility for the maintenance of the home and its contents.
• Closet organization, always maintaining personal effects properly and ensuring they are in good order.
• Organization of cupboards, storage facility and garage.
• Packing and unpacking of suitcases for travel.
• Order and replace flower arrangements.
• Plants/yard management working with landscaping company.
• Working with Pool Company to ensure the water is always clean and swimmable.
• Organizing and managing all household inventories including food, cleaning supplies, lightbulbs, filters
and other products consumed by the household members and their guests.
• General errand running, including shopping for household goods, food, laundry, dry cleaning and
• Pantry and fridge management.
• Answering the doorbell, greeting of guests and visitors as well as answering the phone.
• To serve light meals and drinks to the household members and their guests.
• To receive - send packages and manage household mail.
• Work with trades, vendors, and contractors. To assist with event planning for social and or corporate
style events.
• To prepare meals, cook, set , serve, clean up if required
• Ensure the automobiles are fueled and service checks coordinated.
• Turn down service in the evenings.
• Security and property checks every morning and evening.
• To maintain a log of trades and visitors and to keep a calendar of activities in and out of the house for
the family.
• To help prepare checklists and some accounting for household petty cash. Cleaning Exterior Surfaces,
furniture, s, surfaces, decks and glass.
• Any other reasonable requests from the Employer or his designate.

• In addition to the PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES described above, the role requires SECONDARY
RESPONSIBILITIES in an effort to support the full-time housekeepers role and function while at work
and to be able and willing to “step into” the housekeepers role in the event that the housekeeper in not
working on a particular day or series of days.
• Such tasks may include the daily cleaning including, but not limited to, dusting, vacuuming, tidying,
sweeping, scrubbing of all surfaces as required or instructed, maintenance and the general
appearance of the residence.
• Clothes and garment washing, hand-washing, steaming and linen care, including washing delicate
• Making beds and tidying rooms during the day.
• Trash and Recycling management.
• Annually first aid training and any other similar course as requested by the Employer.
• Anything else reasonably requested by the Employer or his designate.

Housekeeping Duties:
   Clean the inside of the home and the immediate external areas (porch, patio, walk ways, garden)
   Kitchen cleaning- Dishes, cleaning inside and outside of fridge, cupboards, oven, dishwasher, pantry, counters and floors
   Clean Outside of Oven, Fridge, and Dishwasher
   Laundry (washing, drying clothing and household items)
   Meal preparation and service
   Cooking and serving on special events for family and or guests
   Grocery shopping and household errands
   Keeping the household supplies fully stocked
   Receive & serve guests
   Pet care
   Plant care (garden and household plants)
   Secure/supervise tradesmen/contractors
   Rotate seasonal clothing in closets, maintain pantry and routinely clear out of date and spoiled items.
   House sitting
   Handling household finances, paying bills
   Travel arrangements on behalf of employer
   Maintaining household security
   Hiring and supervising other household staff members
   Plan/direct special events
Primary responsibilities as described above
