We are seeking a full time housekeeper to assist in our home. Duties include daily general maintenance and tidying, laundering of sheets and towels, dishes, mopping/vacuuming, bathrooms and kitchen, and all other regular housekeeping duties. In addition, basic food preparation (washing and cutting vegetables, assisting with breakfast and some meal preparation), grocery shopping and supplies list and some errand running. Candidate should have ample experience, the ability to work efficiently, effectively, independently and with self initiative. Candidate needs to be dog friendly as there are two large dogs in the house, and part of the work duties include assisting with their feeding, amd Dog sitting. We require someone with flexibility who is able to occasionally provide housesitting support when we travel. We prefer someone that has a drivers license and could make use of our assistant car for errands and groceries. Any previous skills as a personal assistant would come in handy and are a bonus! No children at present in the home but a newborn expected in May- we do have an au pair which presently lives with us but any childcare experience would be an asset. Drivers license and clean driving record are an asset. Job comes with access to housekeeper car and phone. Regular Hours start at 7:00 or 8:00am and run to 4:00pm with a lunch break although some shifts in schedule occasionally- either Monday to Friday or Tuesday to Saturday, or a later start to allow evening dogsitting support on occasion. Ability to housesit when we travel, or occasionally do overnight care is an asset.
