We would also be interested in having you start to work with us in May and June, if are a university / college student looking for work May to August. We are a great family to work for and we really appreciate the people who become part of our family team. *A full driver's licence is essential for the summer, as the kids may need to be taken to camps, parks, pools, etc. The hours and days are somewhat flexible, but ideally you would work: July and August - 4 days per week, 8:30 to 4:30. Three days at a minimum, 5 as a max if you are looking for more hours. May and June (if interested) would be housekeeping during the day and childcare after school. 12:00 to 4:30. Preferably Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday. This would be a great position for a student, particularly someone interested in working with children as a career. We are looking for someone who is calm, caring, and in charge. Lots of energy would be great too, but not as essential as being caring and focused on being engaged with children. Our son is 10 and he has ADHD, Aspergers and anxiety. He is fully independent in many ways, but needs some lovingly firm guidance to keep him on track and behaving well. He has full-time support at school and needs fairly full-time minding after school. He has a team that has been working with him for many years on social skills, behaviour, etc. Our daughter is 9 and she could almost look after herself. :-) We are two professional parents looking for someone special to add to our family team to help our home run smoothly.
