Busy Springbank family looking for help with household duties and part time childcare. We have one 4 year old who currently attends preschool 2 days per week, but would be at home with a caregiver otherwise while both parents are working. 4 school-aged children, ages 11-15. Duties would include childcare for the littlest one, and limited care for the older 4 - meeting them off the bus after school, packing lunches, preparing meals, and occasional evening/weekend babysitting as negotiated when needed. Housekeeping duties to include day to day maintenance of the home, laundry, etc. Live in option available, at no cost to caregiver; we do live in Springbank, approximately 5 minutes drive from the closest bus stop, so if live out is preferred transportation to/from our home every day would be the caregiver's responsibility. Hourly wage dependent upon negotiated duties and experience/abilities of the applicant. Willing to consider applying for LMIA if required, for the right applicant. Hours/days of work can be discussed and negotiated to best meet our mutual needs, but some flexibility and variability week to week is preferred The ability to communicate well in English verbally and written is a must, and a desire to interact with our family/children in a warm and friendly manner also is a must.
