Elder Caregiver - Disabilities – North Oshawa, Ontario We are looking for a personal caregiver who would like to supplement their income with some extra hours to care for our mother who has limited mobility and cannot move independently. She requires assistance for all daily tasks. RESPONSIBILITIES • Provide care for our mother • Provide care for all bathing, personal and oral hygiene, complete dressing and undressing • Administer medications when required • Provide mental stimulation through games, conversation, watching tv, talking to her • Light housework such as sweeping, vacuuming, dusting, changing of bedding and miscellaneous tasks will also be required as needed. Job Requirements • 2+ years of experience as a caregiver • Must have experience providing care for the elderly • First Aid & CPR would be an asset • Must speak English fluently • Flexibility in the working hours, according to the employer’s needs • Must be kind, compassionate, personable, patient and adaptable to changing needs of the patient.
