We are a happy, active family of three, with one hockey-obsessed four year old boy who keeps mom and dad moving. We live on the Saanich Peninsula and are looking for someone who can easily jump-in to help us during busy times, or to let mom and dad get out for the occasional evening out (no overnights required). Most likely times we will require help: Monday - Friday, between 5 and 9pm Frequency: We anticipate needing help one or more evenings per week approx. 2-3 times per month. Your tasks would include: * after-school pick-up * starting meals * helping with minor cleaning tasks (emptying/loading dishwasher, starting a load of laundry etc.) * playing, creating adventures, and taking trips to the park (floor hockey or spectating imaginary hockey games will likely be required! :)) Our ideal candidate will: * enjoy being active * have a great sense of humour * be able to handle our 'man on a mission' with firmness, kindness, and a mindful approach (we believe in body and mind awareness as a fundamental tool for growth) * have a positive, can-do attitude * be flexible and able to help on short notice * have a minimum of 5-years of childcare experience and values that align with our own Requirements: * Valid driver's license * Own car * Valid car insurance * Criminal record check * First-aid training
