We are looking for a part time support worker, Monday to Thursday from 3pm to 6 pm for our 12 year old son diagnosed with Autism. He is a very affectionate and fun loving boy, with a great sense of humour, who enjoys routines and is typically eager to be independent. We are looking for someone who has experience working with kids who has special needs and who is willing and able to correct unwanted behaviour. ABA experience is a plus. We are looking for someone who is patient, kind hearted, and dependable. During school breaks we are hoping the same person would be able to provide full time care. The job includes picking him up from school in New Westminster, taking him home in New Westminster. Engaging with him in a variety of activities that are mutually enjoyable.
