We are in need of before and after school care in our home for our six year old daughter who attends Blakeburn Elementary. We have two kids; our three year old daughter is in full time day care. We are both professionals. One of us is home on Friday, and one works shift work. As such we need to find someone who is available to do before / after care on a flexible schedule. Sometime weeks we'll need most mornings and afternoons M-Th, and some weeks we'll need very few covered. We are a two mom family and as such acceptance, kindness, and open-mindedness are imperative. Our ideal person is someone who is extremely reliable, who understands that kids are their own person, and that we as adults are here to foster their growth in a kind, gentle, positive environment. Imperative is that you have your First Aid / CPR, a clean criminal record check, some experience or training with kids, no smoking and no drug usage at all including marihuana. A driver's licence / vehicle is an asset. We also have a dog and two cats so being okay with pets is essential. We are hoping to find someone who becomes a part of our family, who our child loves to spend time with.
