We are looking to hire someone to replace our nanny, who has been with us for ~5 years and has been terrific but is older and unable to drive in the winter now. We have twin boys, aged 9. While there is still a child-care aspect of the job, that really involves picking the boys up at school a few times a week and just keeping an eye on them until either myself or my wife get home. Primarily the role is a house manager, keeping us organized, groceries stocked, and preparing meals and school lunches. We use a dinner service called "Chef's Plate" so the dinner ingredients are all dropped off at the door and then assembled according to the recipe included. Light household cleaning and laundry are also important. My wife and I both work full time, sometimes my wife will be working from home as well. Hours are somewhat flexible but generally in the afternoons, especially on the days we need the boys picked up at school. 4 hours per day. If this sounds like a for you, please let me know.
