JOB OPPORTUNITY Job Title: CHILD CAREGIVER-PRIVATE HOME I am urgently in need of a caregiver to assist in the care of my two young children, ages 2.5 years and 3.5 months old. This position is a full time permanent position and services will be provided in my private home for the duration of your employment. My home is located in the community of kings height in Airdrie, Alberta (T4A OS5). JOB DUTIES: -Supervise and care for my children in my private residence. -Bathe, dress and feed my children. -Prepare formulas and change diapers for my children. -Plan, prepare and serve meals for my children in addition to performing other housekeeping duties. -Oversee my children’s activities, such as meals and rest periods, as instructed by me. -Maintain a safe and healthy environment in my home. -Instruct and assist my children in personal hygiene. -Tend to the emotional well-being of my children and support their social development. -Discipline my children based on the methods specified by me. -Organise and participate in activities such as games, crafts, reading and outings. -Take my children to and from school and appointments. -Keep records of daily activities and health information concerning each child Requirements: •Completion of a Secondary school or equivalent is required. •A post-secondary diploma program in childhood education or nursing or related occupation is an asset •At least 6 months training or relevant child care experience caring for young children is required. •First aid certification and CPR (cardiopulmonary resuscitation) training is an asset. -Must be fluent in English both orally and written. “Optional accommodation available at no charge on a live-in basis.
