Looking for Summer Nanny for: • 2 children - ages 8 and 13 - 13 year old has High functioning ASD (Asperger’s) • and Occasional care for 2 children – ages 11 and 14 • Date Range: July 2 to Aug 30 • Hours: 44 hrs/wk average - Monday 11:00 am to 5:00 pm - Tuesday to Friday 7:30 am to 5:00 pm • Non-smoker ONLY • Pay negotiable • Clean Driver’s record • Must have own car/van (fits 4 children) • Cell phone required – either yours or will be provided for length of job • First Aid and CPR • Current Police check and Vulnerability Screening • Previous experience in nanny position, schools, daycares, camps or children’s programs Daily Duties: - Prepare and Serve Breakfast/Lunch/Snacks - Light Housekeeping with children involvement (run/empty dishwasher, tidy up) - Monitor care for 2 indoor only cats (no feeding, no litterbox) - Planning daily activities for the children – set up a weekly schedule, use communication book - Planning Special Trips for the children – you will be provided with list of approved trips to assist with planning) - Activities and Trips costs will be covered Assets: - ECE or ECA certification, Ontario certified teacher or Recreation Therapist program graduate or similar - Proficient swimmer, water safety, lifeguard or swim instructor certificate - Food handling certificate Please provide references at interview
