We are seeking an occasional nanny in the downtown Guelph area for our happy 16-month old boy. We’re a professional couple that need to travel to Toronto for work and would be looking for support in the evenings when we’re both away (e.g. from 5.00pm to 7.30pm). Ideally, we’d also love support in the mornings for an hour to help get our son ready and take him to child care (e.g. from 6.30am to 7.30am). Tasks would include: - Driving to / from child care, which is a 5- to 10-minute drive from our apartment (own vehicle required) - Basic meal preparation - Bedtime routine (bath, story and rock until calm) - Supervising or engaging in playtime (our son often plays independently) We are also seeking support for the days when our son cannot attend child care, e.g. snow/sick days and occasional date nights; however, we appreciate there may not be ample notice. We are happy to consider multiple people, depending on availability, to build our support network. 😊 Experience and Qualifications: - We would greatly value experience as a nanny / child care worker or someone pursuing an early childhood education degree - Driver’s license with clean record and access to own vehicle - Clean criminal record check - First aid and/or CPR - Ideally a non-smoker Rate: $17 - $20/hr, depending on experience
