Hello, We are a family of 5 looking for a nanny to come help to take care of our children (live-in or live-out) when I am away at work, appointments, running errands, etc. I am a Registered Nurse who works shift work (12 hour days and nights), and my husband works away on the pipeline (oilfield). We have 3 children, our oldest daughter is 8, our son is 5, and our youngest daughter is 3. Our day starts early as the kids are up by 6:30-7am. Meals, naptime and play in-between with our day ending around 7-8pm. We are looking for someone to start immediately or end of august/beginning of September. Our oldest daughter is going into Grade 3 and our son is going into Grade 1. Our youngest is at home needing some extra attention while her siblings are away at school!! When I am away at work, you will need to provide supervision and daily/nightly care including: preparing meals, feeding children, dressing, nap time, play/activities, bath and bed-time and light housekeeping duties related to childcare (laundry, cooking, cleaning). Duties would also include drop-off and pick up of our children from school and their activities when I am unable to (vehicle provided). I work a shift-work rotation, your work week varies depending on the days or nights I am scheduled (some weekends included). It is expected you will help provide a fun, safe environment for our children where we treat each other with kindness and respect.
