Hi there, We are looking for a full time live out nanny, to care for three children, ages 3.5, 4 and 5.5 years old. The five year old is in kindergarten until 2:55pm so your day will be primarily with the two younger kids. The primary responsibility will be the care, safety and well being of the children and to provide a loving environment where they can take part in structured and free play as part of their daily routine. We are looking for someone who loves children, who will have fun with them and have the energy required to guide them in creative and stimulating activities. We are centrally located in Queens Park New West, and there is a wonderful community of nanny's and children locally, as well as lots to do! Outings to the community centre, strong Strong Start, library and park will be among expected activities. You must be enthusiastic and passionate about early childhood education and know how to implement age appropriate discipline. Housework will be limited to ensuring that the children's area is tidy and clean and that elements used for preparing and serving meals and snacks are washed at the end of each work day. Hours would be: Monday 8am- 4pm Tuesday's 11am-5pm Wednesday's: 9am-5pm Thursday's 11am-5pm Friday's: 9am-5pm Over school holidays ( spring break, summer holidays, hours will be 9am-5pm) You must demonstrate that you are legally entitled to work in Canada. Proof of education and/or experience in Early Childhood Education as well as a certificate in First Aid for Children are considered important assets. Strictly non-smoking environment.
