We're looking for someone to join our family on a long term basis to take care of our two adorable (at least we think so!) kids. We both work full time, so we need someone Monday to Friday, 8am - 5pm, and we'd love someone that is looking for a posting that will last a couple of years at least. We are: Jo & Clive, English ex-pats, living in Vancouver for over 13 yrs, looking for an experienced live-out nanny to care for our 5 1/2 year old son and 3 year old daughter. You: You are energetic, with experience in childcare and great references. You're honest, enjoy the outdoors, are organized, and don't mind making a mess with the kids and tidying up afterwards! You like doing creative, craft projects as much as you enjoy running around outside. You enjoy a healthy lifestyle so proper nutrition and plenty of outdoor time are a must. You have a driving licence. Our location: We are in North Vancouver and have a great garden with green space for the kids to play and lots of trails and parks nearby. We are also on the 246 bus route direct to downtown and Lonsdale Quay and a 20 minute walk to Edgemont Village. You'd spend your time: Getting the kids ready and out the door in the morning so our son can be at kindergarten on time and then pick him up in the afternoon. But the bulk of the time would be looking after our daughter - playing, doing crafts, taking her to pre-school/activities/excursions. In addition some occasional shopping, or picking up of pre-ordered groceries, food preparation, tidying and light housework as time permits (we have a cleaner that comes every two weeks).
