Looking for kind, positive and naturally caring caregiver who already stays in their home typically. This is for our Mum. We are looking for someone who will keep her safe, well cared for (food fresh water, caring company etc) while we are away. All this would be in your home. She has alzheimers and would be important to be close and know where she is at all times. The ideal candiddate has the home needed can be spacious apartment with elevator or bungalow home (space for easy walker use). Nice clean safe home, with nice cared for room to offer during stay. She can not go downstairs or upstairs without good help. Please reply with details. Important have caregiving experience and solid references. Also criminal check required. Prefer someone with dimensia / alzheimers experience. First aid helpful. Must be open to having few safety tools put in place for her stay in your home (We would draw up some notes for her to be placed in certain important areas on wall, bathroom and bedroom etc- to help her understand where she is. ... Also would require a high latch put on doors to outside etc..) We go away occasionally approx. 6 days in a row. We will pay $150.00 cash per day plus buy groceries for her stay (would include overnights as she would be living with you during this time). 3 decent meals a day that are served and encouragement for her to come eat is needed. Also fresh water provided all day. Lots of kind caring companionship. Must be a safe, positive caring and participational environment.
