I am looking for Childcare/Mothers Helper for the next 3-4 months with the potential of occasional work after that. Right now, I am needing 2-3 wknds per month and perhaps the odd evening during the week. The weekends would be full days both Saturday and Sunday. If an evening shift during the week is needed, it would most likely be a short shift. I have 3 energetic children needing care aged 10, 6, and 4 yrs old. The 10 yr old is a girl and the two younger are boys. We live on the very south side of Edmonton in a nice quiet neighbourhood with lots of other children as neighbours. I’m looking for the following: -someone that is happy to spend time outdoors with my children as much as possible (when the weather cooperates). -someone that will feel comfortable ensuring children do there weekend chores/responsibilities. -someone that will keep the house tidy. (Wash dishes, load and unload dishwasher, sweep floors etc) -someone who will encourage good behaviour. -meal prep and light cooking will be required however I will plan out the meals for the most part and either have something pre-made or something organized for you.
