The first few years of a child's development are among the most important, given this we are looking for a nanny who aligns well with our principles and views on raising a baby. We're looking for someone who will create a safe, caring, nurturing, and stimulating environment by engaging in activities without depending on a screen (TV, phone, computer, etc.) I am currently on maternity leave but will be going back to work in July, my husband and I are a young couple looking for a part-time nanny to take care of our 9 month old son in our home. We currently live in New Westminster, but will be moving to Port Coquitlam in the summer. We are looking to have someone during the day on Mondays and Tuesdays for sure, possibly one additional weekday. Depending on how flexible your schedule is we may need you for 16-24 hours per week. The main duty will be taking care of the baby: -Implementing daily routine and supporting him throughout all aspects of their care in a respectful and dignified manner -Entertaining baby and keeping him warm, happy, and clean at all times -Preparing bottle, solid foods, and feeding baby -Naptime -Assist parents in creating a meaningful and relevant physical space that excites and promotes development When our son is not in need of care we may require light housekeeping: load/unload dishwasher, sweeping and folding clothes.
