Hello! We are a professional couple seeking an experienced Babysitter / Mother's Helper to help care for our 2 boys (ages 1 and 4) for one or two days per week over the summer months while I am working from home and also to do school-pick ups two days per week in the fall. We live in South Etobicoke (Mimico) near Royal York & Lakeshore Blvd. Summer hours are negotiable (likely one 6-hour day) and you would be responsible for both children during this time. In the fall, we would need you two days per week from 3pm to 6pm to provide after school care for our 4-year-old only. (Our youngest will be attending daycare in the fall). Ideally, you would be available to do some occasional evening babysitting for us as well, but this is not a requirement. Your main responsibility will be the care of the children. Duties will include: preparing snacks/warming meals, feeding, changing diapers, organizing games/crafts/activities, reading books, playing outside and light household chores related to the children (tidying up toys, dishes etc). Our 4 year old will be starting french immersion in the fall so if you speak French that would be a bonus! Job requirements: At least 2-years' experience caring for young children under the age 5. First-aid certification. Warm, patient and fun personality. Lots of energy for two active boys! Clean background check. Must be a Canadian resident with a valid work permit.
