Our family needs help! We are full-time working parents of an 8 year old girl and 2 boys ages 6 & 4. Our 4 year old will be attending preschool in the fall (Sept.2019) and we are specifically looking for a nanny who can drive to accommodate getting him to and from preschool. We live in the NW community of Scenic Acres and he will be attending preschool a short distance away in the community of Silver Springs. Our older 2 kids attend school in our neighborhood. We are looking for a part-time nanny to be available for the following schedule with the odd shorter/longer day possible: Mon - Fri, 7:30-9:00 a.m. Mon, Wed, Fri, 12:30-5:30 Tues & Thurs, 3:00-5:30 We would pay a monthly salary. We are looking for someone for a minimum of the school year (August 2019 to June 2020) with the possibility of a longer term commitment beyond June. Your main role would be to care for the kids (drive them to and from school and other activities) but with the older 2 being in school full-time and our youngest in preschool 3 afternoons per week, there will be some time without kids where we would expect light housework/errands to be done. Main duties would include: - getting all 3 kids ready for the day - driving kids to/from school - preparing meals during the day as required (breakfast, snacks) - driving kids to/from extra curricular activities (sports) - helping with homework - some laundry (towels, bedding, kids clothing (on occasion)) - grocery shopping - meal prep for supper - general organizing and tidying around the house - emptying dishwasher - other tasks as needed The ideal candidate will be: - reliable, patient, kind, fun and energetic - must be an experienced and good driver (driver abstract will be required). We will provide a vehicle for driving the kids around and running errands. - first-aid/CPR and previous childcare experience would be an asset - clear communicator, excellent English skills - criminal record check will be required - organized, conscientious, hard-working and able to commit to the entire term of the contract If you are interested in this job please contact me.
