Looking for House Manager/House Keeper

SU
Active:

We have 3 kids (8 year old girl, 6 year old boy, 4 year old girl). We are looking for someone to help us with the following tasks on a live-out basis (we have some flexibility on the hours but you need to be available to help with the kids' dinner time and clean up afterwards). The specific tasks that we are looking for are: •Laundry (our laundry and the kids’ laundry). This includes hanging clothes to dry (for most clothes we don’t use the dryer), ironing, folding and putting them away. With 3 kids, there is lots of laundry always! •Cooking. It’s a bonus if you are creative and love to cook, but at a minimum, you need to be proficient at following recipes to cook for our whole family, including meal planning and prep. •Clean the dishes. Some dishes go into the dishwasher but lots of dishes need to be handwashed each day. •Make the kids’ lunches for school. •Run occasional errands (including grocery shopping, dry cleaning) •Light housekeeping. We have a cleaning person once a week to do a deep clean. You’ll be responsible for ensuring the house is tidy and not messy, cleaning the kitchen after use, occasionally helping clean up after the kids, making the beds. You’ll need to ensure you do not leave a room without putting everything away and tidying up. We have a fairly large house (3 floors + basement) and the kids tend to be messy so we need to ensure the house is tidy at all times. Attention to detail is a must. •Helping with school pick-up and after school drop-off/pick-up, or watching the other kids at home while we do the pick-ups/drop-offs. It would be great if you have a driver’s license. You can use our car for this. If you don’t have your driver’s license, this would not automatically disqualify you. We can make arrangements (Uber, you stay home while we go out, subway, etc.) * Attention to detail is critical for this role. You must be very neat and notice every detail (dirt, clean up, etc.) You’ll notice based on the tasks, that there is limited daily interaction with the kids. This is because they are usually out all day, but are back home between 4-6pm (depending on the day and which after school activity they may have) so when they are back home, you should be available to help them and play with them occasionally to give us a break or to be with them when we can’t be home. If you’re occasionally available on the weekends (to give us a break sometimes) or some nights to babysit, that would be great, but not a requirement for the job.
