My name is Derek and I have two boys aged 3 and 5.5. I'm currently in need of some FT help. We live in South Surrey, BC near White Rock and the Peace Arch/US border in a detached house, with a rear laneway that children mostly play in and within walking distance to many parks and the ocean/beach. I work shift work as an Airline Pilot so my scheduling needs are slightly different than a typical 9-5 work day. I will work between 3 and 6 overnights away from home during an average month. Your tasks would include the following: - prepping food and feeding the children (and yourself!) - driving my younger boy to preschool twice a week. My older boy goes to kindergarten on a school bus so you'd need to walk him on weekdays to the pick up point just across the street. - driving to any extra curricular activities such as hockey, skating, baseball etc. - playing with the children inside/outside. Crafts or parks or whatever playing entails that day! - putting the kids to bed/waking up with them on the nights I'm away. They are usually excellent sleepers. You are a kind, gentle person with a calm demeanor. You have patience and love being with children and helping them learn. You have lots of energy and can keep up with two active boys. You are flexible in your hours and days on a month-to-month basis. You absolutely will require a valid driver's licence.
