Our family is looking for a dependable, honest and trustworthy individual to be a live out nanny for our 2 three year old children. The ideal candidate will be an active individual who will provide a stimulating environment and meet our children’s social, emotional and physical needs. Responsibilities will include: • Provide age-appropriate activities and take children on age-appropriate outings, including outdoor activities and social activities • Transporting to and accompanying children at activities • Transporting to playschool & occasional volunteering during playschool • Reading to children and assisting with early learning • Assisting the children with dressing and hygiene • Acting in accordance with our parenting principles • Preparing nutritious meals and snacks • Light cleaning duties Qualifications • Current level C CPR/First Aid training • Must provide a clean background check, including vulnerable sector check • Previous nanny experience • Driver’s licence • Ability to provide excellent, verifiable employment references • Ability to legally accept employment in Canada • Early childhood education training is an asset • Must be comfortable with animals (dogs, cats) Location: Calgary, Alberta; West/central side of the city Logistics: Hours: Monday-Thursday 7:00am-5:00pm Would also consider Monday & Wednesday only: 7:00am-5:00pm Start date: Flexible; August 2019
