Hello, I'm looking for part time caregiving to assist when my mother’s primary caregiver takes time off. *** You need to be able to understand French *** My mom’s has short term memory loss and sometimes mild dementia (relating to short term memory loss) but is otherwise very sharp and aware. Very positive woman and “lovely”. Duties would be to assist with shower, breakfast preparation (possibly, a friend is with her as well), getting dressed, ensuring morning medications are provided, and general companionship. If you are interested in learning French, that's a bonus because the lady switches to French when she talks at times so you have to be prepared to figure out what she is saying.
