We are seeking a full-time Child Support Worker/Nanny who will also perform some light housekeeping tasks. Our two lovely girls, aged 12 and 13, are homeschooled and well-behaved. They bring joy to our home and have a keen love for outdoor activities, crafts, and cooking. This position requires a professional with flexibility 1-2 times a month stay 30 minutes later due to business commitments. The nanny's primary responsibility will involve supporting the children in their schooling with activities like crafts, yoga, dance, outings, and physical exercise. During any absence, a relief nanny can take over duties by 5:00 pm. We have a dedicated homeschooling resource area and are well-equipped with all necessary supplies. You'll be supported by alternate Speech therapists and tutors, aimed at enhancing the girls' speech and social skills. Expectations include participating in the children's daily homeschooling activities, attending any appointments that require the children's presence, preparing meals, assisting with children's and mom's laundry, keeping their school room tidy, assisting with packing prior to travel, clothes preparation, and prescribing medicines. The ideal candidate will also undertake light housekeeping duties in between weekly housekeeping service visits. These include loading the dishwasher, keeping the kitchen tidy, general tidying up, and emptying the kitchen trash. Housekeepers come weekly but daily items need upkeep. Communication and prioritizing the children's needs are vital for this role. Your ability to communicate efficiently regardless of the circumstance will be greatly appreciated. It is essential for the nanny to be a non-smoker due to asthma and allergies within the household. An allergy to pets necessitates using a lint brush before you come in. The girls just received two hypoallergic cockapoo dogs which are being trained as emotional support dogs. So if dogs are not your thing.... I have two more business trips that I am gone Monday to Thursday far away and require overnight care. Job Sharing. if You Only Want to Work Monday to Wednesday....that is an option until April with job sharing possibility, but then you must work 5 days Monday to Friday from then.
