We are very involved/dedicated parents but also self employed with no family in town. This means we rarely have time for self care or anything extra for our businesses.
We're looking for part-time flexible childcare to allow us to spend little more quality time outside of work and the home. Since we are self employed we can be somewhat flexible around which days and hours our two year old is watched. Our preferred days are Monday, Wednesday and Fridays.
We are non smokers and spend a lot of time focused on healthy eating (no fast food or refined sugar for our children please).
A successful candidate would:
1. have knowledge and/or motivation to prepare healthy homemade meals/snacks (doesn't have to be elaborate or fancy).
2. Have their own vehicle and a clean driving record.
3. Have a criminal record check (at your expense).
4. Have recent Infant CPR/First Aid chocking prevention training (in the last 1-2 years) or be willing to acquire before starting.
6. If we're a good fit, be willing to commit to at least 1 year to our family. This will provide some continuity for our daughter as well as offer us some security around childcare.
