Looking for a part time nanny available starting in September in Southwest Edmonton. I'm aiming to find a kind and loving caregiver who has their own vehicle (or good access to transit) and can be flexible with days and times. Will likely be 25 hours a week, but may be closer to 30. Will mostly be weekdays (as early as 7 am), some evenings , and may require the occasional Saturday as well. I am a registered nurse but only work up to 8 hour shifts. (Regular days for Sept-Dec are Monday from 10-4 and Tuesday from 7-1; will be one or more additional days. I have a schedule up to the middle of December. Next semester, regular days are Monday, Thursday, Friday.) Our older son is in school, so you will primarily be responsible for our younger son during the day (playing with him, making and feeding meals, light tidying, etc.). We will also need help with getting our older son on and off the bus, then helping with after school activities and preparing/feeding supper. You would need to have your CPR and first aid, criminal record check, and at least 2-3 references. We prefer someone with Early Childhood Education but will consider previous experience as well. Needs to have a good sense of humour, love to play and be active, and enjoy the outdoors.
