We are seeking a loving, responsible, and experienced live out nanny to join our family. The right candidate is equal parts fun and firm. We have two energetic boys, aged 3 and 6, who are both in school. Childcare is needed part-time, from approximately 1:00-6:00pm Monday through Friday. There is also an opportunity for additional childcare hours, primarily on evenings and weekends, as needed. Additionally, we are seeking a responsible and organized housekeeper to help us manage the house and keep things tidy. We’re looking for someone who will take the initiative to maintain the house as they would their own, which may mean cleaning certain things/areas without being specifically asked to do so. Housekeeping is needed part time, for approximately 10-12 hours a week. We are open to hiring a single individual for both roles, or hiring two people if there’s a great fit. Childcare responsibilities include: - Picking up one or both children from school - Bringing children to after school activities - Preparing school lunches and healthy snacks - Meal prep for family dinners - Arranging play dates - Engaging the children in seasonally appropriate activities (no screens!) - Bathing the children - Doing the children’s laundry - Tidying the children’s rooms and play areas Housekeeping responsibilities include: - Keeping the house neat and organized - Cleaning the house (vacuuming, mopping, dusting, cleaning kitchen and bathrooms, making beds and changing linens, etc.) - Laundry and occasional ironing - Keeping track of supplies used and a list of supplies needed Skills and Qualifications: - Previous experience and references required - Fluent in English, with excellent communication skills - Valid driver’s license and vehicle, preferred (for nanny position) - Experience with a kosher home, or willingness to learn - Must be in Toronto and eligible to work here (no sponsorship) - Police check required - Non-smoking Salary: Negotiable, based on hours, responsibilities, and experience
